THIS IS ONE OF SEVERAL LISTINGS FEATURING BEAUTIFUL HANDCRAFTED ITEMS FROM COLOMBIA. THESE ARE ALL EXCELLENT EXAMPLES OF VERY FINE MARQUETRY USING CORN HUSKS AS THE INLAID MATERIAL. THEY WERE MADE IN PASTO WHICH IS A CITY IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF COLOMBIA, ALMOST IN ECUADOR. DESCRIPTION This is a very interesting and unusual pair of small trinket boxes from Colombia. Each scene depicts a peasant farmer with either a town or farm building in the background. The brown box has a sticker with the Artemanos company logo. CONDITION Very good - no damage or issues APPROX. DIMENSIONS Blue box is 2-1/2" diameter and 1-3/4" tallBrown box is 2-1/4" diameter, 2-1/8" tall SHIPPING INFO - Shipping cost is calculated specifically for your zipcode. You pay actual USPS cost plus a small amount (only 75 cents) for shipping incidentals! I don't charge for my time, driving to the Post Office, coffee, snacks or whatever.
