Up for auction is a circa 1850's era Sioux Pipe and Original Stem. Overall it measures 30-1/4" in length and the pipe measures 6" long by 3-1/4" tall by less than 1" in thickness. It makes the stem a little over 24-1/4" long by 1-3/8" wide. The stem does not show remnants of file branding or anything fancy. This week we are selling the lifetime collection of Dr. Larry Martin of Lansing, Michigan. He collected artifacts most of his life with a strong emphasis on 18th and 19th century pieces.
