87 Piece Sterling Silver Stieff Repousse Set This week I will be listing the final collectible silver items from a relatives estate. So be sure to check my other items as they all came from the same household and had only one owner. They are very nice and rare pieces. From the STIEFF SILVERSMITHS in BALTIMORE, MARYLAND 1930's-40's . 87 Piece Set Stieff Sterling Repousse Flatware Fine Condition , has not been polished all pieces are mongrammed with an M except those with an asterisk*. Each piece is also marked with the Sterling Steiff trade mark. Serving for 12 includes the following: *12- Knives 12-Forks 12- Salad Forks 8-Soup Spoons 12-Teaspoons 6-Table Spoons 3- Serving Spoons 8- Ice Tea Spoons *8- Cheese / Butter Spreader Extras *Cake/Pie server Cheese server Gravy Ladle Cream Ladle Parfait Spoon Master Butter knife Comes with 4 original Tarnishproof Processed Flannel storage wraps for a service of 12 from The STIEFF Co. Baltimore, MD. Also includes original wood box, does have some wear and a spot as seen in picture. These pieces were purchased in Baltimore piece by piece by two sisters in the late 40s. They have been sitting in a box in a cedar chest for many years. They clean up well. The other set sold quickly an did not have the extras that this one has, the silver value alone is worth over a $1,000.
