LF01 Boston Red Sox Offered is a vintage snapshot-type photo of Steve Yerkes, pictured in his Boston Red Sox uniform circa 1911-14. The actual photo measures approx. 2-1/2''x3-3/4'' and has been affixed to a 4''x6'' card as shown. Guaranteed to be a vintage photograph (not a modern-day reproduction). The snapshot photos currently being offered are generally in EX condition with the majority showing exceptional image quality and faults being largely confined to corners and edges. See scans of each photo for specific condition details.Stephen Douglas Yerkes was born in 1888 in Hatboro, PA and died in 1971 in Lansdale, PA. He played major league baseball from 1909 to 1916 as shortstop and 2nd baseman for the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Rebels and the Chicago Cubs, and appeared in the 1912 World Series. He became freshman baseball coach for Yale University in 1940. He also owned and ran a bowling alley. Unless otherwise stated, all shipping will be via USPS. Options are typically given for 1st Class or Priority for packages weighing up to 13 ounces, and Priority for packages 14 ounces and larger. Media Mail may also be optional for certain items. Shipping insurance for items valued up to $50 is included in the base shipping price shown. Shipping prices shown apply for United States domestic shipping only. If you will require international shipping, please either e-mail me for a quote ahead of time or else wait for me to send an invoice with your shipping options. All international purchases should be paid for with Paypal. Items paid for by personal check will be held for a full 2 weeks after depositing to ensure that the check clears. Combined Shipping: I will gladly combine shipping on multiple lots to save you money. I typically send combined invoices for auction items following the end of each week's listings. If you have multiple Buy It Now purchases, just send me a note to let me know when you have finished making your purchases and I will send you a combined invoice with all of your shipping options. You should then make a SINGLE payment for all your purchases. Combined shipping is figured by taking the largest shipping amount for any of your items and adding an incremental amount for each additional item.
