For sale is a stoneware beater jar that I believe from it's style was probably produced by the Western Stoneware Company. It measures 5 1/8" high by 4 5/8" wide. The crock reads, "I APPRECIATE YOUR TRADE, JOHN HOPKINS, LANGDON, IOWA." T are no cracks, hairlines crow's feet or repairs on this crock. T is some of the usual crazing inside the crock though not on the outside. T is also a one inch drying or shrinkage line on the inside of the crock but does not go through and is not visible on the outside of the crock but can be seen in one of the pictures. The top is free of any chips, but t is some slight chipping on the bottom which appears to be more a flaking of the glaze. This small crock is very clean and in good condition. The crock will be double boxed for shipping security, and I will mail it by US Priority Mail. T will be a flat fee of $15.00 for shipping and handling.
