I like my buyers to GET the good stuff....)OLD STRAND SANTO DOMINGO TURQUOISE NUGGET & SHELL HEISHI NECKLACEAs bought, Never worn, just Collected & Admired, Years Ago.Measures 31" long, with 31 turquoise nuggets. Strung on some old cotton stringing. As kept by us it is fine the way it is, but if you plan on wearing it, the apparent fragility of the old stringing, says it needs to be re-strung on perhaps more durable stringing of your choosing.PLEASE NOTE : I am not an expert in SW Native craft. But what I do know was this necklace was amongst Native items, all the others of which, dated from the first 2 decades of the 1900's.AND that is ALL I know about this necklace. You SW experts out there will need to be able to determine if this necklace dates to th at time period or is otherwise of interest to you.My usual experience is that those who know WILL KNOW FOR SURE!!If you need to ask questions, you are welcome to.Look at the PhotosFor us, this was bought for admiring, not wearing, & kept clean.
