You are bidding on an original windshield cover for the StudebakerT-24, M-29 and M-29C Weasel tracked cargo carrier of WW II . This cover is used to cover the windshield glass to keep reflections from giving the vehicles position away. They were issued with the vehicles when delivered to the military. The cover was used on the vehicle while driving and were used with the top on and without. There are flaps on the back to cover the glass when parked or when the windshield is folded down. This original WW II cover is a bit dirty but there are no tears or rips in it. It will clean up nicely with soap and bleach. All the eyelets are there along with the cable and chain links to attach to the windshield. It is in the original white canvas with black camouflage and the hardware is also painted lusterless white. The photos are of the actual cover that you are bidding on. This cover is in the “Zig-Zag” camo scheme which was one of three camo schemes that the Weasel was delivered in. The other two were a different Zig-Zag type and a spotted type scheme. (Note that the cover shown on the Weasel in the photos is NOT the one that you are bidding on but is here to show how the cover is attached to the windshield.)
