You are bidding on an original windshield cover for the Studebaker T-24, M-29 and M-29C Weasel tracked cargo carrier of WW II .This cover is used to cover the windshield glass to keep reflections from giving the vehicles position away. They were issued with the vehicles when delivered to the military. The cover was used on the vehicle while driving and were used with the top on and without. There are flaps on the back to cover the glass when parked or when the windshield is folded down. PLEASE NOTE:.....This original WW II cover is a bit dirty and there are a couple of small holes in it.All the eyelets are there BUT the cable and chain links to attach to the windshield are missing. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS TO SEE THE CONDITION OF THE COVER.It is in the original white canvas with black camouflage and the hardware is also painted lusterless white. The photos are of the actual cover that you are bidding on. It will clean up nicely with soap and bleach. This cover is in the "Zig-Zag" camo scheme which was one of three camo schemes that the Weasel was delivered in. The other two were a different Zig-Zag type and a spotted type scheme.Even if your Weasel is Olive Drab this cover will give you a pattern and hardware that Wee Bee Webbing or other canvas reproducers can use to make you an OD one.
