SUPERB DE LA CAL PUENTE HAND PAINTED MAJOLICA POTTERY TEA POT FROM SPAIN, SIGNED F. SANCHEZ My mother had torelocate recently with the subsequent downsizing. I am helping her to sell some of the items that she and my father bought during the 50 years they were happily married. We were a large family, so I have the task of going through all the boxes now in storage. This is very beautiful Toledan clay pottery tea pot from Spain, hand painted and glazed Majolica style in white, cobalt blue, yellows and reds. Handmade and hand decorated by the De la Cal family, who have been creating this beautiful type of artistic pottery for five generations, at their factory in Puente del Arzobispo, in Toledo, Spain. Actually, Majolica was developed on the Spanish Island of Majorca and then imported to Italy. Signed by artist F. Sanchez. In excellent pre owned condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
