TORII KIYONAGA Vintage Japanese Color Woodblock Print with Wax Paper Cover Story"Three Beauties Enjoying the Cold of the Evening"Dimensions: Thick paper outline measures 14 3/4 x 10 3/4 Inches. The print measures 11 1/2 x 7 3/4 Inches.Kiyonaga (1752 - 1815) Japanese Woodblock Reprint Enjoying the Evening Cool by the RiverComments - Handsome design of three beauties enjoying a summer stroll along the water's edge. The two women at right hold hands as they walk, chatting with their companion over their shoulders. The beauty at right wears a sheer black outer robe, her red and white patterned kimono visible through the transparent fabric. A lovely design with graceful, elongated figures drawn with lovely flowing lines. Rarely seen in reprint.The Print itself is in excellent condition, there is minor wear to the corners and wax paper that surround the painting. The picture is attached to a 14 3/4 x 10 3/4 thick paper outline that protects it from any bending or creasing, as pictured. The Wax paper outline protects it from outside wear and dust.
