Tunstall GW Turner Brown Transferware Brazil Platter This square handled platter in brown transferware would make a great shelf or wall display piece. It has leaves, flowers, and berries with a large butterfly below. This platter is 9 inches by 8 ¼ inches. It has some light staining in the top area which is clearly visible in the above photo. The platter does have some fine glaze crazing which is not unusual with this type ware. No chips. No cracks or hairlines. The back of the platter is marked with an impressed 19. I know the maker and pattern name on this piece because I purchased other matching items at the same estate sale and some of the pieces were marked. The mark on the other pieces is G. W. Turner & Sons Brazil Tunstall and I am including a photo of this which is on a matching sugar bowl currently on Ebay. This platter is not marked. If you need it for Christmas, I can usually mail the next day after receipt of payment. Priority mail generally takes 2 to 3 days.
