This is a beautiful old silver inlay spade bit--marked on front of mouth by spade AG--(the mark is very light and one photo shows it) I talked to one person that had seen one other one --and another collector that thought it might have originated in Texas--so not sure who AG is.....this is a very heavy bit--scales says 3 lbs--all the silver is t and no damage--lots and lots of old inlay silver work --even the lip bar has silver on it--and the bit is in amazing condition. The bit measures 7-3/4 in. long--mouth is 5-1/8 in. wide and from top of the mouth to tip of spade is 3-3/4 in. high--no damage or missing silver--this is a bit that should be in the high dollar cowboy auctions--but an opportunity to own it--thanks for looking---- you can now pay by credit card if you contact me--and your item will ship right away--
