Today for Auction we have a truely sweet Brides Basket, with Bowl. This bowl is absolutely luminous, it seems to glow from within. A wonderful shade of Robin's Egg Blue fades slowly from the double V crimped edge of the bowl to the brilliant opal-white center. T is no extranious decoration... it needs none. The bowl is shaped much like a Dolly Varden basket. The outside of the bowl is a pure white, with a polished pontil. The bowl is presented in a Rodgers and Smith silverplate basket, with adorable little Cherubs in Medallions on either side of the handle. The Basket also would benefit from a good cleaning, if you like a real shine to your silverplate. T is plenty of plate left as it's very shiny w I touch it frequently. All four legs and the handle are strong and well attached, t are no dents or repairs that I can see. Dimentions: The Bowl is 12 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide at it's widest point, 7 3/4 inches wide at it's mid-point, 5 inches tall, and has a 4 inch foot. The Basket is 12 inches tall to the top of the decorated read more
