We have up for bids a Vintage Victorian Silver Plated Pickle Castor. It holds an electric blue Daisy & Button pattern glass jar. It also has tongs that hang from one side and a silver plated lid. This was made by the Meriden B Company and is stamped on the bottom Meriden B Company l l. The ornate holder measures 10 1/2 inches tall and 4 5/8 inches across the base. The glass jar is 4 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches across the rim. The tongs measure 7 inches long. The condition is very good. The glass has no chips or cracks. I polished the lid but the rest of the caster holder does need to be cleaned. I'll leave that up to the buyer. The handle on the lid is just slightly bent but not that noticeable. This old castor jar will make a nice addition to your Victorian Glassware Collection. The buyer pays actual shipping cost.
