Offered here is a completely original and authentic early 20th century pair of quilted football pants that I obtained in am estate lot that contained century old items from Colorado. I believe these belonged to an athlete who ran track and perhaps played varsity football and/or baseball for the Colorado State Aggies (now the Colorado State University Rams) in Fort Collins. The pants are heavy duty and display a good deal of game use. There is no manufacturer or size label. The pants have belt loops firmly attached around the waist. Most quilted pants I've seen like this pair have drawstrings at the front, but these pants have metal snap buttons, which I think is quite rare. The pants are in very good condition with no significant rips, tears or other damage other than heavy use in the form of stains and soiling.
