Vintage 1939 Renee LaliqueGlass St. Marc Bird Vase Item Description: Up for auction is a stunning antique Renee Lalique crystal glass vase manufactured in France during the 1930s. The vase featured is the St. Marc vase and it displays a series of doves tapering down the sides from largest to smallest. While the vase itself is clear, the doves have a satin finish on them which make them stand out against the clear background. The vase itself is tapered from the top and it has a zipper type pattern which distinguishes each section. The vase is marked on the bottom with the acid etched signature of Lalique in block letters. Overall the vase stands approximately 6 5/8" tall and is about 6 3/8" wide. Item Condition: The overall condition of the vase is excellent. It is very clean and it has no chips, cracks, or broken areas. The bottom rim has two very fine fleabites around the rim. The clarity of the glass is wonderful with no cloudiness. The details in the zipper pattern and birds look wonderful as well. This is a highly desirable piece that any collector would be pleased to own.
