Up for auction today is this “Vintage Glamorous 1966 Barbie Doll with Thick Red Hair and Nylon Lashes”. Barbie is from my own personal Collection and I am sizing down. I have had Barbie stored in a box for many years and it is time to let her go, so someone can enjoy her. I am not a doll expert, so please feel free to ask questions. This 1966 Barbie Twist N Turns and is very glamorous with her thick red hair, Blue eyes, Nylon Lashes and pink lips. Her upper hard body turns with soft arms and bendable soft legs. She is stamped “1966 Mattel Inc., US Patented, Made in Japan”. Condition as followed: Barbie’s legs and arms are tight; the legs bend and stay in place nicely. Her red hair is thick without missing plugs; there are holes on the bottom of Barbie’s feet. In the back of the right knee the plastic is damaged where the knee bends. Please refer to my pictures.
