This is a vintage Akro Agate powder puff box-jar, in the blue with white marbling color, "Scotty Dog" pattern, circa 1939-1942. It measures about 6 1/4" tall to top of ear on Scotty and 4" in diameter. It is embossed on the bottom with the Akro Agate trademark and "Made In U.S. Of America". T is roughness (small chips) on the inside of lid, along inside on scalloped skirt (4 scallops) and a small chip in scallop groove, view photo. Very hard to see. Other than that it is in clean bright shiney condition with no other chips, cracks, scratches, or stains. This is still a beautiful hard to find Akro Agate Scotty box, in great condition.
