Very easy to put together. Also, has a hole in the back w the star is, to place a light if desired. The box says: The Christmas Story in Beautiful Cut-Out Scenes and Life-Like Figures. "It tells the Christmas Story"The box is in pretty rough shape, but the pieces inside are beautiful. Great to display this season. DetailsAge: unknown...no date on package. One piece on the base is marked for "Colored Wise Man" so we would guess it is vintage 1940's or earlier Made out of: Heavy cardboardCondition: The pieces themselves are in excellent vintage condition except the back piece. The flaws that we found are that at one time the box had to have gotten wet and that is the damage that is shown in the pictures. It is on the back and doesn't show. The box also has tape on it. We didn't want to pitch it incase someone is looking for these pieces to complete or replace items in their set. Complete with all pieces in original box. Pieces appear to be unused. ***PICTURES WERE TAKEN ON A FISKARS 18" X 24"GREY SEWING MAT--THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION*** THIS WAS USED TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THE SIZE OF THE PIECES...
