VINTAGE CARLTON WARE ROUGE ROYALE ART DECO ASH TRAY RARE SPIDER DESIGN VINTAGE CARLTON WARE ROUGE ROYALE circa: 1951-1961 Shape number 2141 RARE ART DECO PIECE WITH SPIDER DESIGN The ash tray has been used for purpose and some of the rouge glazing has faded and slightly spotted from the heat of cigarette use, however this does not detract from the overall design and beauty and all of the handpainted art work is bright and clear. Please see photos, especially photos 3 & 4 where I have tried to show the imperfection. Very light wear to gilding and very little crazing, no cracks or chips. A beautiful and very rare carlton ware art deco shape and spider pattern Width and length are approx: 5" Diagonally across measures approx: 7" Centre bowl width: 2" Centre bowl length: 2" The under side is of course marked with the "Rouge Royale" lettering and the shape number 2141 is impressed EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION View My Feedback View My Other Items For Sale
