This is a vintage Cass Toys doll trunk with a green/white diagonal-striped paper covering a wooden base, fashioned into a steamer travel trunk with exterior travel-themed stickers. Interior is red and white checked paper. Label inside reads Cass Toys New York . Made circa the 1950s in the United States, it is of sturdy construction with charming details. Drawer, hanging rod, vertical compartment ribbon tie are present.Approximate dimensions: 12.5" high, 6.75" wide, 6.75" deep.Condition: Very good vintage used condition overall, commensurate with age, use and storage. Drawer foundation is not affixed to the case. Interior has a 1" tear to the paper under the drawer compartment (not visible when drawer and compartment are in place). External has some paper fraying at edge and one 1" paper peeled spot. See photos marked up for these flaws. No stains, no foul odors.
