You are buying this lovely early Chad Valley Teddy Bear.I have been told that he is "Toffee" from the early BBC series but think he might be slightly earlier.He has the "The Chad Valley co ltd" - By appointment label on him which i think makes him 30s to 40s.He has lovely long hair and not too many baldy areas. Just needs careful washing. The leather on the paws is not too worn either which is great.Size is approx 10 inches tall.He has a stitched nose and mouth with glass eyes. He has v shaped join to front of face and to reverseMoveable jointed arms and legs.Open to sensible offers.One of these sold at Christies for £250 in worse condition.This bear (and other listed) was owned by Famous David Weston (artist known for his paintings of trains). He was born in 1935 which should give indication of date of bear.
