Look in our store for more great buys on vintage clothes, collectible dolls, antique textiles & old books.An unusual & exceptional replica of a Chinese warrior's helmet. Circa 1950's. The helmet has a domed metal top, small brim, neck protector made of metal laced together w/ orange rayon twill ribbon & 2 large "dragon wings" in front. Height is about 6", width (from wingtip to wingtip) is 14". Helmet is lined w/bright red rayon fabric.Very elaborate piece - the metal dome is black & silver & has a brass medallion & studs. Brim has brocaded fabric & 2 brass lion medallions. Hlemet insignia is brass w/3 peonies. Dragon wings each have a brass dragon - handpainted in green, red, white & black. Condition -excellent. I did not see any flaws at all on this item. WOULD MAKE AN EYE-CATCHING DESPLAY. A CHINESE WARRIOR'S DRAGON HELMET. NEW REDUCED PRICE AND BUY IT NOW MAKES THIS A GREAT BUY!!
