Up for auction - This Vintage tin fire engine/ truck with original box and cardboard sleeve for the controler. Made in Japan. It says "3800 Toy Time" on the box. Im guessing maybe in the 1950's or '60's? It looks like this has never been played with! The battery compartment is absolutely clean and the cord looks to have the original knot tied in it. There's no wear on the tires (see Pict.). I went and bought two "D" batterys, tried it out and everything works. It moves forward and backwards, bell ringing, light flashes, ladder moves up and down. It's approx. 7" long, 2 7/8" wide, about 5" or 6" to the top of the ladder. All tin except for the wheel covers and the flasher cover are plastic. The controller is tin. The buttons are plastic. It's been setting for a long time, but it's a great find! CONDITION: In my opinion, this looks to be in mint condition. The box may be near mint to excellent - one end has corner tears (see Picts.)
