Vintage Fire Hose Nozzle Star Mark Brass 30 In NR Description Large, heavy and brass fire hose nozzle, no markings other than a large embossed star on the handle end (see photos). Appears to be brass throughout, possibly chrome or aluminum on the nozzle itself. A magnet does not stick. Appears to be in good used vintage condition. Some of the rope has unwound. We see no cracks, dings, dents etc. Some unevenness in the finish on the silver nozzle which we didn't even attempt to do anything with. Measures a total of 30-1/2" long. Top opening is 1", the chrome part which unscrews easily is 5" long. Bottom opening would take a 3-1/8" outside diameter hose (cracked and dry remnants inside). See for yourself ... has age to it, but we have no idea how much. Found near Charleston many years ago -- ten maybe? Safe, secure but no frills packing -- no packing or handling charge. Packed weight is a whopping 15 lbs. And of course we combine shipping if you find something else you like, and gladly make a pile for items ending at different times (within reason).
