~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ This buy it now is for this WONDERFUL Vintage French Puy Lentil grain sack dating 1962~*~ I have just returned from a wonderful buying trip in Europe and this beautiful French printed mill sack is amongst the many treasures ~*~ This sack has the most AMAZING design!! An absolute beauty indeed ~*~ This sack not only has the front side printed, but also inside of the sack, on the back panel, t is another printed side! So, you get two printed sides with each sack! ~*~*~ Truly special and wonderful. ~*~*~ This sack was used to take the delicious Puy lentils to the mills and also used for storing them. The fabric is a woven hessian and each bottom of the sack has been hand stitched using a blanket stitch. This sack would make an AMAZING wall hanging ( you could actually make 2 framed wall hangings from each sack because of the double printing) or they would make beautiful decorative pillows ( again 2 can be made!) ~ the printing can be cut in many ways~*~* just beautiful. These textiles are not machine washable as the ink will remove when washing, so Dry Clean only please~*~* I have photographed one sack as I have many that are nearly identical and it was quite difficult to tell the photographs apart, so the sack you receive may be ever so slightly different, all exactly this sack with the printing, but perhaps one might be very very slightly more faded or darker etc. Each sack has storage dirt that can be spot washed or brushed. They have been stored for many years and have a slightly musty smell. This "rustic aroma" usually faded when the textile is aired ~*~ not strong smell, but worth mentioning~*~* They are really a wonderful textile This sack is perfect for someone looking for a rustic touch of beauty!
