Hello & Welcome, Here's the rare & scarce Hull Pottery Dime Piggy Bank with the cork hole in its bottom and not its snout. In the Hull Pottery Corky Pig Bank collection this one, known as the Dime Bank, is the most highly sought after. This beautiful piece of pottery was made in 1958 and is in great condition. The glaze is absolutely gorgeous, which I hope the photo's show properly. There's no scratches in it and it really shines. The pink & blue pastel colors are adorable and the eyelashes are the dream of any lady. It measures approximately 4 1/2" long, 3 1/4" high & 3 1/2" wide. The only flaw on this Piggy Bank is three very, very small hairline surface cracks at the foot of its right rear leg that don't go all the way through and can be seen in the last photo. It is also missing its original cork, which most have after 55 years. It has been replaced with a rubber stopper that can easily be removed and replaced with a cork stopper if you'd like. It's stamped "HP 58 USA" and a circle around a "C" on the bottom. Full, this piggy bank is supposed to hold $75.00 of dimes. If you're a piggy bank or Hull collector this piece would make a great addition to your collection.
