Two Vintage Korean Celadon Ceramic Vases. "Thousand Cranes" Celadon Porcelain Vases are a reproduction of a famed 12th-century Korean vase. Hand-thrown on a traditional foot-powered wheel and painted in white and black clay slip, before glazing and firing to produce the delicate design of cranes and clouds. The curving shape called “mei-ping” was originally designed to display flowering plum branches. Both vases are 8 1/2 inches tall.
