Vintage MAINE FOUND INDIAN SEWING BASKET GREAT COLORS Fresh from a Maine estate is this nice old sewing basket. It measures 3" tall x 4 1/4" across. It is in great condition, t are a couple of loops around the ring on the cover missing, but hard to see. I'm not a basket expert, but I think the blue is faded on the outside, judging by the very intence blue of the inside and the bottom. I also do not know who made it, but we are only a few miles from the Penobsot Indian Reservation, and alot of the baskets in this area are from t A wonderful addition to any collection!
