Be sure and add me to your favorite sellers listâe"teddy68elvis! This is a fantastic vintage Munising Woodenware dough or butter bowl! It is approx. 13 1/2" long x 12 1/2" wide with a 1/2" rim/lip (bowl is slightly oblong from age and use). Also included is a wooden dough/butter paddle or spoon. It is 8 1/2" long x 5" wide and is flat with a notched handle to hook on edge of bowl lip. I believe the bowl is made of maple wood and it is marked on the bottom with the left leaning script signature used by The Munising Woodenware factory in the 1930-40's. The Munising Woodenware Factory operated in Munising, Michigan from 1911 through 1955, when the introduction of plastic and inexpensive foreign imports proved to be too much competition.
