Vintage Russian Lacquer Box Palekh Romantic Scene >NR< Mid 20th Century - 70s to Mid 80s This is a Beautiful Original Hand Painted Russian Lacquer over Paper mache Trinket Box We Believe to be From the Palekh Village. The Piece is Artist Signed and Features a Wonderful Romantic Scene with a Couple in a Field Outside. We Absolutely Love the Glow and Gilt Accent the Figures have in person. Most of the pieces in this Collection Are Part of a Fairy Tale Theme But we are Not Sure What This Tale This Scene might Relate to. This Piece Haas a Wonderful Glow with lots of Gilt Accent. The Detail, Color and Painting is Absolutely Fabulous this is a Wonderful Craftsman Piece Not a Cheap Assembly Line Knockoff. The Piece Is Signed and Titled at the Bottom, Unfortunately the Title looks To be in Russian and we Can Not Translate.
