Up for auction is a 70's niles slingerland 18"x16" floor tom shell. This is a 3 ply shell, with a maple interior, and maple re-rings. This was part of a chrome kit that I once had. I was going to rewrap the drums, and I started with this floor tom. It took me HOURS of work to get the thick rubber cement off of the shell!!!! Needless to say the rest of the drums never got touched. So if you need a 18" floor tom, all of the hard work is done for you ! This drums is ready to wrap. The bearing edges are in nice shape, the re-rings are not loose, t was a small crack in one of the rings that was repaired when I got the kit, and has held up just fine. Very nice drum shell, in a hard to find 18" dia. I also have one of the stick saver hoops for this drum that I will include. Any questions fell free to ask! Thanks for looking.
