This cute little monkey toy was made in Germany in the U.S. zone, which makes it circa late 40s/early 50s. I've seen it describe as a Arnold Windup Toy, but I don't know where that name comes from. It measures 4 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches from wheel to wheel. It is in Good to VG cosmestic condition as shown. It does wind up (so it's not a case of being overwound), but there is no movement unless you push one of the monkey's legs--then the back wheels will turn slightly and it will move a very short way. It seems to have a preference for right turns but it can also go straight. It does not come with a key but a standard windup key from a Japanese toy will work--I used one from a modern Japanese Robot toy, and another seller of a similar (or identical) item says that it works with a #2 Schuco key. Shipping to the U.S. is via Parcel Post + delivery confirmation, which is something like an extra $1.00 or so. International shipping at cost plus small handling fee. /
