This unique vintage WWII letter opener is a miniature M1 Garand. It measures 8 1/2 inches long, is made of metal (dark copper colored) and is very heavy. The weight of the âeoegunâe is approx. 6 oz. It comes with the original box it was mailed in. Everything is in very good condition but the box is worn and flattened out. Also included is a letter dated May 7, 1944 (postmarked May 8) from the veteran talking about guys shipping out from training camp. The name of the camp looks like Camp Haun ??, I assume in southern California. Everything you see in the pictures is included in this auction. Shipping is a flat $2.85 in the US. International shipping is available. This item has a low starting price and no reserve. It will be sold to the highest bidder.
