Antique Cut Glass7 Inch Serving BowlAmerican BrilliantBeautiful Condition I am pleased to offer for auction a lovely cut glass bowl. I know nothing about American Brilliant cut glass except what I have read on the internet, so I have taken many close up photos and I will describe it the best I can. The bowl is 7" in diameter and 3.5" deep. It has what seems to me to be deep sharp cuts and is sparkly and clear. The only damage is a very small chip on the outside edge of one of the teeth on the rim of the bowl. You can see what this looks like next to my finger on the final photo. I didn't notice it was there until several inspections. I can see two or three places on the outside bottom that are slightly rough and I think would be called a flea bite chip. These are very tiny. The bowl is heavy, weighing exactly 3 lbs. From my research, I think it is a "Hobstar" pattern. The glass is 1/2" thick as measured across the saw teeth.Please let me know if you have any questions I haven't covered. I bought this recently at an estate sale, but as I said, it isn't my area of expertise. I see no markings to indicate a maker. This beautiful bowl will come carefully packed to arrive safely at your home. Thanks and good luck bidding!
