Vintage Chinese Silver & Gold Thread Embroidered SILK Wedding Skirt This exquisite Chinese wedding skirt is covered in real silver and gold thread couching stitch of dragons and phoenix birds. It is in very good conditiom with no damage, stains or missing embroidery. It is totally lined in matching silky fabric and there is a metal zip in the side. It also has a draw string and suspender like strips that button. I am not sure what you do with these or how exactly this is worn. I think it must fold vertically somehow. It has a wide waistband and 2" fringe around the bottom. Photos do not do it justice . This Chinese textile is wearable but can also be framed it measures: *Waist ~ 38" *Hips ~ 50" *Center Back Length ~ 38" It's a textile treasure! I was so fortunate to be invited to the ultimate in sales of of the clothing and accessories of one of the grandest clothes horses in the country. It was brought in by huge semi-trucks from Texas to a Beverly Hills home where my friends are handling this magnificent estate. In all my years of ShamanShopping I have never seen anything like this ! I am sure you will be seeing the treasure spilled out here on eBay and other sites as it is dispersed back in to the Great Creative field of fashion. I am personally trying to sell everything and wander about the jungle without bags ! lol
