Original Wartime Signed Hoffmann Photo Postcard of LW Ace Oberst Walter Oesau (1913-1944), Holder of the Knight's Cross with Oakleaves & Swords.Oesau was killed in a dogfight with bombers on May 11, 1944. Oesau is credited with 127 Air Victories, 119 during World War II & 9 during the Spanish Civil War.Oesau signed the photo with blue ink on front. On the back traces of mounting.
