Waterford Millennium Millenium Collection Happiness Toasting Goblet This auction is for one of the "Happiness" toasting goblets. This goblet has never been used; only displayed in my china cabinet. It is in perfect condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. The goblet has the Waterford insignia acid etched into the base of the stem. I have included some of the other information inserts for the Millennium Collection. Waterford is known for being mouth-blown by old-world masters. These goblets are absolutely gorgeous with the clarity and cut that Waterford's name is world-renowned. To celebrate the approach of a new millennium, Waterford Crystal presented a five-year series of pairs of special edition toasting goblets known as the Millennium Collection. Each year, from 1996 through the year 2000, an edition was issued and inspired by one of these five universal wishes: 1996 was 'Happiness', 1997 was 'Love', 1998 was 'Health', 1999 was 'Prosperity', and the year 2000 was 'Peace'. Each year's edition also included a toast to be read aloud: The 1999 edition was for the toast for "Happiness": "May you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings, slow to make enemies, quick to make friends.
