WILLIAM MARPLES NEAR-MINT, VERY RARE TYPE FILLESTER PLANE. ( Fillester is the English spelling. Filletster is the American spelling.) Shipping cost includes insurance. Yes, this one has a few tiny blemishes and that's why I call it NEAR-mint. The second very rare thing about this plane is the fact that it has the "eye-opening" escapement of an armed moving fillester, but has the depth stop on the left side similar to a sash fillester. The arms are 9". The blade is slanted completely across a 1" sole, with the right edge leading. All four ferrules are tight and cross-wedged. Both arms are riveted tightly to the fence. The depth stop is snug, and turns smoothly. There is no abuse to either the main wedge or read more
