The chin straps may be a bit discolored from age, but they are stress-tested to at least 10 lbs.; so they are nice and solid despite, any small bit of fading. The fiberglass liner may not be original equipment--any rotten webbing, shriveled leather sweat bands, etc., have been replaced with solid, functional items.
