Yashica-D 6x6 120 TLR Twin Lens Reflex Yashinon Lenses The Yashica-D was made between 1958 to 1974. It features aperture and speed setting by thumb wheels which displayed the readings in a small window above the top lens. The shutter is cocked by the lever on the side of the taking lens which I personally favour over the later crank handle of the Yashica-Mat and other models. Most modelof them have the 3-element Yashikor f/3.5 80mm lens BUT, this one has the highly regarded, and superior, YASHINON lens with a Copal MXV shutter with speeds from 1 sec to 1/500 plus B and it has XM flash syncronisation. T are no dents, scratches or paint loss on the body. The leattte is fully intact with no tears or shrinkage. The lenses do not appear to have scratches, marks or fungus. The focus is smooth as is the operation of the waist level finder. The shutter is firing nicely on all speeds and 'sounds' correct. The self-timer is working fine. Just about perfect isn't she? Well unfortunately t is but one little flaw to mar this otherwise 'perfect' camera. On the left side of the lens rack some lunatic has hand-engraved a number vertically. You can just see it in image two. Most who do not know it is t would perhaps not even notice it. Neverthess I must price the camera accordingly.
