Working Zaccaria Earth Wind and Fire Pinball Machine from 1980. Built in Italy, Zaccaria was a popular manufacturer during pinball's heyday. This machine has classic, straight-forward features with excellent sound effects for its vintage (sounds a lot like the Flash/Firepower era Williams games). It has a truly excellent condition playfield (it really shines!), and has been re-rubbered, cleaned, and checked out for proper operation. The only thing not working as it should is the credit/match display, which looks distorted due to digits that do not turn off properly (if it should read a "1", you can still see a faint "0" at the same time). Not sure what that is, but it does not effect game play at all. The backglass is in good shape, with some dirt marks and pinholes around the light bulbs, but it looks quite good. The cabinet is fair, as it was roughed up in transit from Europe, with a fair number of scratches and chips. It has been touched up pretty well and looks presentable, but it is far from perfect. The machine has one coin mechanism and chute, and a lock and keys will be provided. T is not a lock for the backbox, but it hinges closed securely without one.
