This charming circa 1950s tree top by National Tinsel is mounted on a gold scalloped foil base just over 7" diameter. The heavenly angel is made of thin plastic and rests on a lush, curly angel hair cloud. A heavy coiled wire is at the base to attach the angel to the top of the tree. The back has an opening so her face can light up if placed in front of a light bulb. The tree topper is in excellent condition, probably never used. It was found crumpled at the bottom of a box of old Christmas decorations in its original package. The cardboard backing is worn from storage, and the mylar bubble covering is somewhat crushed and pulled away from the staples which held the cover in place. However the topper itself was well protected and looks just fine. Boxed shipping weight 2 lbs.
