This is a 1943 published and printed German Autobiography of Fallschirmjaeger Generalleutnant and Knights Cross Winner Bernhard Ramcke. The book was written by the man himself and it does contain 39 very rare photographs of him during his training and the Kriegsmarine prior to becoming a paratrooper, as well as his time during landing at Crete (Greece) and with the Afrika Korps in Africa...a superb and very scarce book, it is hardback and has 240 numbered pages and measures 9 7/8" x 7 1/4". Unpacked weight is 0.7kg. Good, used condition. The book is covered with a plastic, protective film.
