JAPANESE BUDDHIST "KURIDASHIIHAI" SHRINE INCENSE BURNER Listed is a Japanese Buddhist shrine for lost loved ones or "Kuridashiihai" from the Taisho to early Showa period (1900~1930). This comes from a butsudan with an incense burner and vase made of metal (bronze?). All are in good condition with some slight fading (see photos). One of the hinges is loose but the other hardware is in good working order. The top comes off and thin pieces of wood are inserted with the name and age of lost loved one inscribed. This is not a "zushi" meant to house deities. This shrine has no planks of wood. Dimensions: 8 1/2" x 2" x 2" or 22cm x 5cm x 5cm. We ship Worldwide!
