I TEM T ITLE : 1960s Mr. Ed Talking Hand Puppet- Talks!!! ~ CLICK ON THE PHOTOS TO VIEW LARGER IMAGES ~ Offered for your bidding consideration is this circa 1962 Mister Ed talking hand puppet by Mattel. This puppet talks perfectly… sounds pretty close to the original Mister Ed voice. Sayings include: “The phone is ringing shall I answer?”, “Just call me Mister Ed.”, “My girl friend has a pony tail.”, “Isn't it silly talking to a horse?”, “I'm a horse Of course“, “I'll be the horse you be the buggy.”, “Who has a horse face“, “Oh...horse feathers.”, … The face is made of rubber, the body is faux fur and the mane is made up of yarn. The tag is missing. The Fur and yarn were wet at some point in time, and does show some soiling. The fur around the head is a little worn. Overall in VG condition. I am assuming the fur and yarn can be cleaned, but I will leave it up to the new owner. The most important part is that the voice works and is clear!!! So, Wilbur… what are you waiting for???
