ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next week we will be listing some fine examples from our collection. You rarely see collections like this come up for auction on ebay these days, and all with No Reserve. Please be sure to add us to your favorites list , we do have more treasures still to come! ITEM: Up for auction is a Fine Rare Matching set of 2 Russian Armorial Porcelain Cake Stand Plates. The Cake Stands are part of a Large Collection of Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. As you can see the Cake Stands has a great Russian Design. I do not know a great deal about the Cake Stands being part of my Parents Estate and Private Collection. The Stands were purchases years ago out of a very fine collection by my Father purchased part of known as the "Stringer Collection" as you can see by the bottom collection label. T is also another early Russian Cup and Saucer also listed in our other items from the same collection. Around 1 year ago we listed a bunch of items from this collection. We did not know to much about the pieces, but when we listed them they brought some amazing attention and every piece from this collection appears to be of the finest quality one could hope to find. The Stands are also Brilliantly Hand Painted throughout with the Finest Quality Details we have seen. The Stands also have nice Vibrant colors, like no other examples we have seen. The Stands also have nice Russian Armorials with Russian writting aroud them. As you can see the underside of the stands are also finely decorated. The Stands also have a nice Rich Gold Gilt finish, really the nicest we have seen. The Stands are also made of a very fine Transluscent Porcelain that is very strong and durable. The Stands are also in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The One Stand appears to be touched up, or repainted aroud a small part of the Russian letters as you can see, but overall they are in very fine original condition. The Stands are also a nice size for use and display measuring 8 3/4 inches wide, and standing 3 3/4 inches tall. I have no idea what the 2 Fine Russian Armorial Cake Stands would be worth. You do not seee to many examples of this quality come up for auction, and it is great to find a matching pair still together. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide.
