This Is A Great Antique 18th Century New England Beehive Loom Light. They Are Called This As The Story Goes Women Would Hang These On The Loom To Work Past Sunset. Most Of The Time These Were Hung On Ceiling Beams Or At The Backs Of Chairs Where Extra Light Was Needed. This Piece Was Made By An Early Blacksmith As You Can Tell By The Fine Detail In The Spiral Shaft And The Beehive Candle Cup. It Measure About 18 Inches Long.
