Antique 1930s CZECH Faceted Multicolored Glass Gems Brass? Brooch Welcome! Here we have a striking antique brooch, made in Czechoslovakia around the 1930s. It features their famous vibrant faceted glass, arranged in four tiers and with a rainbow of colors. Each glass stone is framed in a low toothed bezel. The metal appears to be brass but may be a dulled goldfill. It is marked "Czech" on the back for its country of origin (most prized collectible Czech pieces are from the 1920s-30s, when they made such uniquely lovely jewelry). The pin on the back is held in a c-clasp. The brooch measures 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" high with a depth of 1/2". It weighs 5.7 grams. Size comparison coin used in picture is an American dime. No stones are missing and the glass stones are in fine condition (one has a small pock on the top facet). Thank you for your interest, and please have a look at our other items! We will automatically combine shipping for you, for free. We typically sell antique jewelry, and odds and ends picked up by our compulsive yard-sailing. We are selling knives and swords this season, as we have no need for the duplicates from the set we purchased-- give them a peek! Thanks for "stopping by", and may your New Year be blessed with wisdom and contentment. We have had to increase our shipping costs slightly to match the new USPS costs. read more
