Early White Flax Homespun Linen Fabric Nightgown - Germany early 1900's is a gorgeous, very antique, early linen flax fabric nightshirt with wonderful texture. It was loomed from early linen flax. Monogram M* A* S*. Original white button closure at neck and 3/4" filet crochet lace edge all around neck opening and 11 1/2" down the front. Total length of the gown is 41", bust across front 22", sleeves 9 1/2". Close-up photo of the texture of the fabric photo #4. T is an area about 1" on the front of the shirt that shows an age spot, photo # 5. No holes or thinning in fabric. I washed this nightshirt - it is ready to use. I have lived in a very rural part of Germany for the last 6 years and just love these great pieces of homespun. They are becoming more difficult to find all the time. I will be listing more of these great homespun pieces in the near future.
